Fabrication and Estimation of a Superconducting Dual-mode Disk Resonator Using Ground-slot Structure

Abstract(in English) This reports a feasibility of a novel perturbation by ground-slot for superconducting filters with the both high-power handling capability and compactness. A 5GHz-band High-Tc superconducting dual-mode disk resonator using round ground-slot structure was fabricated and tested. The measured frequency response showed an equivalent to a 2-pole bandpass filter. And the third intermodulation-distortion (IMD3) measurement by 2-Tone method indicated a low IMD3 of about -75dBc at 40dBm power. Therefore, the excellent results indicate the proposed dual-mode resonator structure is one of the candidates for superconducting transmit filters.
