Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Measurement and analytical methods for nonlinear characteristics of HTS microwave devices are investigated. Firstly, complex power series are introduced to represent the nonlinear characteristics of the devises. Secondly, a wide dynamic range and precise measurement system to obtain the level of the intermodulation distortion are explained. By using the constructed system, a maximum dynamic range of 120 dB and a maximum sensitivity of -100 dBm are achieved. Then, phase components of the nonlinear distortions are calculated from the continuous wave response. Finally, the applicability of complex power series representations for HTS microwave devices is investigated using measured results.
