Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) One of the most serious issues for a packet routing problem is how to decentralize congestion of packets. In order to resolve this issue, various methods have been proposed. We have already proposed a packet routing method with a chaotic neurodynamics to avoid the congestion. The results show that the chaotic routing method exhibits high performance for various complex structures of the computer networks. In this method, a transmitted node of a packet is basically decided by the shortest path information between two nodes and a past history of packets from the transmitted node. In this report, an improve routing strategy with the chaotic neurodynamics is proposed by introducing additional information: how long a packet has to wait at an adjacent node until the packet is transmitted to the next node. The results show that the improved proposed method has higher performance for small-world networks and scale free networks.
