Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this report, we assess the inter-stream synchronization quality among haptic media, sound and video by using a haptic media, sound and video transfer system. The system transmits the sense of force, generated sound and video from the master terminal to the slave terminal while a user is touching a real object by using haptic interface devices. We investigate the influences of inter-stream synchronization errors among haptic media, sound and video on the media output quality by subjective assessment.
