Abstract(in English) In order to prepare optical waveguides for optical interconnection, novel UV-curable silicone polymer Nano-Hybride Silicone (NHS) was developed. Some kinds of NHS optical waveguides are fabricated with direct photo-patterning process, followed by being removed from substrates. The optical waveguides with 45° angle mirror that optical paths are converted into vertical directions are also fabricated. They show low propagation losses at 0.85 micrometer wavelength and the insertion loss of the mirror are about 1.1 dB. Their bent losses were investigated for applications to culluer-phone. The loss increments are so small with refractive index difference (Δn) of 2.8 % when the film is bent to vertical (90°) directions till 1 mm radius.
