Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In recent years, the orthogonal array has been a key topic to enhance software testing. The orthogonal array can be used for generating necessary combinations of experimental factors efficiently. Such a combination-generation ability could be applied into software testing methodologies. This paper develops a support tool for the software unit testing, OTGforJUnit. It can automatically generate necessary combinations of method-invocations for an efficient testing, based on the concept of orthogonal array. The tool is designed to support the well-known unit testing framework for Java programs, JUnit. The empirical study shows that OTGforJUnit would contribute to efficient testings and fault detections.
