Abstract(in English) The need of nation-wide consolidated sensor network systems that gather every sort of environmental observation data such as meteorological observation, tectonic movements, tide level, water level and etc. NTT has proposed "Hyper-Multipoint data gathering satellite communication systems" as the sensor network system taking into account the merit of satellite communication network of disaster-resistant, wide-area covering and portability. In this report, we propose and evaluated enabling core technology for the system i.e., hyper multiple access control that handle data transmission from tens of thousands of observation earth station with efficient frequency utilization technique, ultra accurate and stable local oscillator technology that enable gapless FDMA channel allocations and Multi-rate Group-modem technology that enables de-modulate several hundred of carriers of arbitrary bandwidth and frequency.
