Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We propose a ubiquitous public key infrastructure with camera phones. The central concept of this is to use two-dimensional barcode (QR code) as a public key. In particular, the printed public keys represented as QR code can easily be read with mobile phones anywhere, anytime. Thus, acquisition of public key and public key exchange become direct without man in the middle. We call this new PKI using camera phones QPKI in order to differentiate from the conventional PKI systems. Here, we also discuss the security analysis against this systems.
