Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We propose the key update scheme for multi-hop tree topology networks, which effectively update the network key by assigning the group keys according to the network topology. The proposed scheme, in order to reduce the storage overhead in a node, constructs the subsets so that all the child nodes who have the same router node must be in a subset. The proposed scheme suppresses the transmission overhead for updating a key in the entire network by each router node relaying the key update packets only to its descendent nodes. Considering the number of transmissions for the revocation of an end hop node, the proposed scheme needs only about 62 % transmissions to update a key compared to the conventional LKH scheme.
