Abstract(in English) Block-Spread CDMA(BS/CDMA) communication system has received much attention as an MUI-free system even under the multi-path environments, and it might be expected to improve further BER characteristics by introducing receiving antenna arrays. But, in this system there occurs interference in each data-block, and if we use an MMSE detector to suppress it, it requires matrix inversion with L (block length) by M (the number of array elements) dimension to calculate the weight matrix, causing unpractical processing cost. In this paper, using the property that the correlation matrix in the DFT domain for the system is composed of sub-blocks with diagonal matrices, an MMSE block-data detection method is proposed, which requires only L M-dimensional matrix inversions. Computer simulations are conducted via the method, and the effectiveness of the method is shown in terms of BER characteristics.
