Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we show noncoherent iterative likelihood ratio decision (iterative LRD) method and noncoherent lump likelihood ratio decision (lump LRD) method and simulate the BER performance in various channels and multiple access environments. As a result, In an AWGN channel, iterative LRD and lump LRD have not improved from conventional soft decision method. In a CW interference channel, likelihood decision methods have not improved from a conventional soft decision method, however, when Eb/No[dB] increases, performance of iterative LRD becomes worse. In a burst noise channel, the lump LRD has not improved from conventional soft decision method but the iterative LRD has improved from the conventional soft decision method. In a fading channel, likelihood decision methods has improved from the conventional soft decision method because a calculation of likelihood works effectively. In a multiple access environment, when the number of users increases, iterative LRD performance becomes worse, however lump LRD takes the most superior BER performance.
