Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Sensorimotor systems have unavoidable delay in the processing. In this paper, we investigate the influence of the delay on neural-networkperformance by numerical experiment. The result shows that the delaydegrades control performance of reflex action in proportion to the amount of the delay. It also influences the signal generation ofvolitional motion that is closely related to the reflex action. Anappropriate delay can even be in favor ofvolitional motion learning. |
