| 抄録(和) | 本稿では,ユーザの視覚と触覚に作用することで視覚障害の有無に関わらず直感的な道案内を行うWYSIWYAS案内ボックスを提案している.WYSIWYAS (What You See Is What You Are Suggested)は,理解や解釈を必要としない直感的な道案内を行うナビゲーションシステムの基本設計概念である,ユーザのeタグを検知するとLEDと振動モータにより方向を直感的に提示するプロトタイプを作製し,視覚障害者/健常者を対象とする実験を行っている.例えば視覚障害者を対象とする実験では8方向中1方向の認識成功率が平均97%となり,ユニバーサルにWYSIWYASな道案内を可能にするHMIの実用に向けた見通しを得ている. |
| 抄録(英) | This paper proposed the WYSIWYAS direction box that provides intuitive navigation for both people with and without visual impairments by using visual and tactile interfaces. WYSIWYAS -What You See Is What You Are Suggested- is a fundamental design concept for our navigation system that intuitively suggests routes without interpretation. A prototype of the WYSIWYAS direction box that detects user's e-tag and suggests an appropriate direction using LEDs and vibration motors is developed, and experiments for subjects with or without visual impairments are carried out. It is shown that the recognition rate of the suggested direction in 8 directions is 97 percent for the subjects with visual impairments. We make clear potential of WYSIWYAS direction box with a universal human-machine interface (HMI). |
