Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The hash function MAME (Mille-feuilles) was implemented on FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array). The consumption electric current during the MAME operation was observed. We presumed side channel attack by the consumption electric current. The possibility of the side channel attack by consumption electric current with a normal implementation was confirmed. Furthermore, tamper resistant implementation of sbox was evaluated and the validity was confirmed.
