Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this manuscript, the technique to mitigate the giving interference to primary systems in OFDM Cognitive Radios is proposed. In the OFDM Cognitive Radios, the sub-carriers equivalent to frequency bands where the signals of primary system are detected are set as null sub-carriers, and the signals of cognitive radios are transmitted on the sub-carriers where the signals of primary system are not detected (hereinafter, this is called " effective sub-carrier"). In such a situation, there rises a problem that the leaked signal from the effective sub-carriers to the null sub-carriers may interfere with the primary systems. Therefore, the leaked signal has to be lowered. In the proposed method, the signal consists of multiple OFDM symbols is buffered and over-sampled, then the over-sampled signal is Fourier transformed. The null sub-carriers in the Fourier transformed signal are zeroed again, then the signal is inverse Fourier transformed and transmitted. By taking the above process, the leaked signal to the null sub-carriers is lowered. The spectrum characteristics and the packet error rate in the proposed method are aveluated by the computer simulation, and the effectiveness of the proposed method is shown.
