Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A Cognitive Radio has been paid attention from the viewpoint of its high efficiency radio resource management. Although the term definition of "Cognitive Radio" is under discussion, this theme is regarded as one of most important research field to develop the future radio technology. We deploy a packet bases multi-transmission method to realize the cognitive radio. Here we discuss the cognitive radio as a new approach to reduce the cause of the inter-system interference. The key functions to establish the multi-transmission method are summarized and the fundamental design of the radio station is also shown. Regarding the scalability and robustness, these key functions must be applicable to the autonomous distributed controlled network. Due to its strong mechanism to reduce the cause of the inter-system interference, the cognitive radio is a candidate to improve the performance of the mesh networking radio link. A topology control method to ease the packet flow from the concentration into very small potion in the mesh is discussed. Finally, remained works to improve the performance of the cognitive radio are summarized.
