Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Cognitive Wireless Cloud (CWC) architecture includes cognitive radio technology which enables mobile users to sense and to connect to different radio networks. Providing QoS support for seamless mobile networking in Cognitive Wireless Cloud is a technical challenge. In general, resource reservations are required in all possible next destinations of the mobile user, which dereasing the number of users that the system can simultaneously support, therefore lowering the total capacity of the system. This paper shows an efficient resource reservation scheme by studying the suitable reservation duration and suitable radio network for making resource reservation. The proposed scheme based on dwell time in a service area which can be estimated from user's mobility information such that moving speed.
