Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Terminal initiated handover in cognitive wireless cloud requires selecting an appropriate PoA from among several neighbor PoAs. An important thing for seamless communication is to continue services (VoIP, video conference, web browse), and the PoA selection should be based on end-to-end QoS whereas many previous researches for handover use only radio status such as RSSI. It is, however, difficult to introduce end-to-end QoS measurement into handover management because it typically takes a few seconds. In this paper, we propose an autonomous distributed measurement environment and fast end-to-end QoS measurement method using distributed measurement information. We also confirm our proposed method can estimate end-to-end delay and jitter only with a few milliseconds error by simulation. |
