Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper presents an inter-base station (BS) wireless network design for emergency relief, which is expected to be one of the Cognitive Radio technology-oriented applications. A temporal network deployment is required for emergency relief in case of disastrous event where the quick network introduction is essential. It is expected that with the Cognitive Radio technology the network set-up can be automated with the inter-BS interference monitoring and avoidance control suitable for the emergency relief deployment. The authors cover the network and base station configurations using inter-BS relay links, the service provisions for the emergency relief use over the inter-BS networks, and the inter-BS interference monitoring and avoidance control schemes.
