Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) First-order adaptive infinite impulse response (IIR) lowpass filters have been proposed to find unknown passband-edge frequencies of lowpass signals for removing high frequency noises in speech sounds and for effective subband coding. They use gradient-based algorithm whose objective functions are the mean square of the weighted output of first-order IIR lowpass filters. This paper proposes a new design of adaptive lowpass filters which have enhanced convergence speed and reduced coefficient fluctuation. The idea to realize these properties is to adopt the fast and stabilized algorithm which has introduced to realize adaptive bandpass filters.
