A study of the service interaction method for an IMS network

Abstract(in English) The characteristics of NGN are it is session control network by SIP based on 3GPP IMS, and it publishes ANI(Application Network Interface) to use the network functions to application which is outside of the network. Publishing ANI, third party service providers can develop service applications easier. And it may cause "mash up" that is a recent service creation model that is collaborating service components on the Web on the NGN. In the future, the new network service model may be realized. that is an user can combine it by themselves that the service components are provided by many VoIP/IP-TV service providers. Current state, ANI implementation may be two patterns. The first pattern is to publish web service API model like the Parlay-X. The second is to publish the SIP interface like the ISC interface of the IMS. The ISC is interface between CSCF(Call Session Control Function) and AS (Application Server), it provides a method of a service collaboration an application and a session control. If we treat to collaborate services that are created by third party provider, we have to think about a service collision. However ISC does not contain the service collision control methods. In this paper, we propose the service interaction method on the IMS network.
