Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | The authors ran a behavioral experiment on the prism adaptation in a throwing task, asking what information in the visual information is essential for the adaptation in visuomotor transformation. Specifically, we examined whether or not removal of visual information of the thrown ball affected the extent of prism adaptation. The amount of aftereffect was not apparently different between the case that the visual information was provided only after the ball impact and the case that it was provided from the ball-release to the ball impact. |
