| 抄録(和) | 本研究では,画像中に大きく撮像された部分領域の追跡問題に焦点を当て,画像中に撮像された人物部分領域(頭,前腕,手など)を継続的に追跡する手法を提案する.従来の対象領域全体を1つのモデルで表現した手法では,対象領域と同じテクスチャをもった隣接領域との誤追跡を避けることは難しい.そこで本研究では,この隣接類似領域(同じ着衣の前腕と上腕など)との誤追跡を避けるため,対象領域上に存在する特徴的な点の集合を追跡対象とみなし,対象領域を追跡する.本手法ではさらに,パーティクルフィルターを用いた確率的アプローチにより実現することで,追跡の安定性を確保する.さらに,ランダムサンプリングを用いたロバスト推定手法を用いた外れ点除去により,リアルタイム性を確保したまま,遮蔽に対応したロバストな追跡を実現している.提案手法の有効性を示すために,人物の部分領域にズームアップした動画像を用いて追跡実験を行った. |
| 抄録(英) | In this research, we focus on how to track a target region (e.g., head, hand, and etc.) of a person observed in the zoomed-in images. Most of previous tracking methods express a target with a single model. With the single model, however, it is very difficult to continuously track the target region without confusing it and its neighboring similar body-part (e.g., the forearm and the upper arm) because they might have the same texture patterns. In our method, a group of feature points in the target region is extracted and tracked as the model of the target region in order to avoid the miss tracking. Small differences between the neighboring regions can be verified by focusing only on the feature points. In addition, (1) the stability of tracking is improved using Particle filtering and (2) tracking robust to occlusions is realized by removing unreliable ourlier points with a robust estimation technique using random sampling. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of our method even when occlusions occur. |
