Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This article proposes a new method to improve the reception of the digital satellite broadcasting on a moving vehicle. There are two major factors which make the reception difficult. One of them is the Doppler shift. We use Doppler shift estimation concomitantly with PLL. The other major factor is the the fading channel. The proposed system uses only a single antenna without any pilot sequences. The fading channel is represented with a simple graphical model and its parameters are estimated. The grahical model of convolutional code enables us to make the inference of the transmitted codes. The proposed method is tested with computer simulation and real channel data. Computational cost is reasonable for real time system and the results are promising.
