Abstract(in English) Polymeric thin films can be prepared by evaporating vinyl monomers followed by thermal polymerization by heating the deposited films. This method enables one to prepare multilayered structures of polymer thin films, and was utilized for the deposition polymerization of charge transport and phosphorescent thin films to prepare organic light emitting diodes. Divinyl TPD was used for the hole transport layer, and vinylbenzyl monomer of Ir(piq)_2acac was used for the phosphorescent layer of red emission. The use of deposition polymerization enabled to improve thermal stability of the film, which led to the improvement of emission characteristics and device lifetime.
