Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In recent years, embedded systems becomes to have multiple functions to support various digital contents and networks. For example, cellular phones integrate not only communication function but also multimedia functions such as video processing and audio processing. These functions are imp;emented on a LSI with the advanced silicon technology. This means the LSIs are changing from "System on a Chip" to "Multi-systems on a Chip". The "Multi-system on a Chip" requires multi-core on a chip, and desing platform becomes important to integrate many cores and IPs with lower development cost. In this paper, the trend and latest technology of multi-core and design platform will be described.
