Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Crosstalk noise between wires causes the signal delay and errors. This paper provides compaction methods with coupling capacitance constraints to suppress the crosstalk noise. First, we give an appriximation for the coupling capacitance in terms of average of lengths of parallel wires and the minimum distance between the wires. Based on the approximation, we formulate a compaction problem as Linear Programming (LP). Next, we present another compaction formulation, where approximation errors on the parallel running intervals of wires are minimized based on Quadratic Programming (QP) framework. In experimetns, for several instances, we compared LP-base and QP-base compaction methods with respect to the approximation errors.
