Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) For transillumination imaging of biological body, the previously proposed technique was improved to extract near-axis scattered light efficiently. In experiments, it was verified that extraction efficiency can be improved about 10dB using the newly proposed technique. It was confirmed that the propagation area of scattered light can be largely restricted to the near-axis region. In the measurement of absorption distribution in scatterers, the possibility of accurate absorption measurement with good spatial resolution was demonstrated.
