Abstract(in English) A magnetic motion capture device had been developed for a hand in order to auquire the position and attitude information of receivers attached on the fingers of a hand. The measured data differed from the actual position and attitude of hands due to the difference between the initial stage of receivers and phalanges. So, calibration was essential for the data measured by this magnetic MoCap device to draw the 3D-CG for hands. Again, the VR model for hands should be in equal shape and size of fingers (hands) of the subject person. We proposed some techniques to auquire the size of fingers and the calibration of the measured data. The purpose of this study is to make a VR model for a hand properly. Moreover, we considered some techniques to reproduce the movemonts of a hand in the VR space correctly.
