Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Since a ripple regulator has a good transient response, it has been implemented in POL power supplies, and so on. In this paper, a digitally-controlled ripple regulator is presented and experimented for a buck converter. As a result, excellent transient performance and good load regulation have been obtained. The proposed converter is possible to operate at fixed switching frequency and easy to be synchronize with an external signal.
