Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The hybrid battery system consists of Fuel cells and Double Layer Capacitors has been already proposed. There is some possibilities of cutback in the cost and/or miniaturization of the system because they supplement the power density and the energy density each other. The system, however, has been not yet evaluated quantitatively. This paper presents the analysis of the output holding time of the converter in case of the rapid change of the load and reveals the the effects of the output power, the equivalent resistance of fuel cells, the capacitance of double layer capacitor and its ESR on the holding time of the converter. Those effects are useful for the system evaluation.
