Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) All-solid-state thin-film lithium secondary batteries are expected as power sources of small-sized and ultra-thin electronic devices. In this study, well-crystallized LiCoO_2 thin films as positive electrodes for all-solid-state batteries were prepared without post-annealing process by electron cyclotron resonance (ECR) plasma sputtering method. The batteries, which are deposited LiPON electrolyte film and Li negative film on the LiCoO_2 films, showed high discharge energy densities of about 1 mWh/cm^2 and good charge-discharge cycle properties. Moreover the batteries deposited on flexible polymer substrates showed electrochemical performances as high as ones deposited on the conventional substrates such as quartz glass.
