A study on development of simple pregnant woman model for SAR Evaluation

Abstract(in English) As the diversification of the electromagnetic (EM) environment is spreading, it is essential to estimate the EM dosimetry in a pregnant woman's body and her fetus under various exposure situations. Until now, we developed the realistic pregnant woman model for numerical calculation of the SAR inside of the fetus. However, it is considered that a simple calculation model is suitable for the experimental estimation and is enough for the performance evaluation of the communication terminals. This peport presents the construction of the simple pregnant woman model and describes the validities of this model. It was found that the fetus averaged SAR is different between the both of the previously developed high-resolution and the simple models. However, both of the fetus averaged SARs are near by correcting the position of the fetus in the simple pregnant woman model. Therefore, it is confirmed that the developed simple pregnant woman model is useful for evaluating the SAR inside the fetus.
