Abstract(in English) As a counter measure of co-channel interference at digital broadcast-wave relay station, we have considered an application of MMSE adaptive array. So far, we suppose that interference incident to main lobe of receiving antenna with sharp directivity is needed to be cancelled using signal processing. However, it becomes clear in a practical network examination that a demand to cancel co-channel interference which incident to side lobe of receiving antenna is exists. This paper proposes an interference cncellation system for ISDB-T using an auxiliary antenna. In this system, a main and auxiliary antenna are directed to desired and interference waves respectively, and interference component in a signal received by main antenna is cancelled with a replica of the interference generated from a signal received by auxiliary antenna, utilizing a difference of there interference D/U. Numerical examples and in-laboratory experimental results are presented to show the effectiveness of a proposed method.
