Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The authors started to develop an advanced FPU (Field Pick-up Unit) transmission system exploting AVC/H.264 video coding, MIMO-OFDM transmission scheme, adaptive array antenna technique, and highly effective error correction code such as LDPC (Low-Density-Parity-Check) code. As for the MIMO transmission scheme, they have been sturying Space-Time Codes which are thought to be robust in fading channels. So far, they designed some 16-QAM space-time trellis codes, and performed computer simulation of the codes though correlated MIMO channel, and compared with other known codes. The results are reported here.
