Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a method for reducing computational complexity of soft-decision decoding based on ordered statistics without degradation of the decoding performance. It utilizes Euclidean distance between codeword candidate and received sequence to limit the search range of codewords. A numerical simulations are carried out to evaluate the performance of the proposed method. The results of the simulations show that, compared with a method using maximum likelihood sufficient condition, the computational complexity of decoding are more reduced.
