Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This research is concerned with the navigation of VRML worlds. With the rapid development of computer-graphics technology, we can now find many 3D contents on the Web. However, they are not necessarily comfortable at present. In many cases, beginners have a hard time in the movement in the 3D virtual worlds. As one of the methods of solving this problem, there is the automatic generation of viewpoints for target objects. It is very effective in the lightening users navigation load. The implementation of this method is comparatively easy for static objects. However, it is difficult for dynamic objects. Therefore, this paper proposes a method of automatic generation of the viewpoints for dynamic objects.
