Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper discusses on inter-vehicle communication and ranging system using spread spectrum technique with visible lights called visible lights boomerang transmission system. We performed the simulation about the boomerang transmission system using on-off keying which applied the conventional boomerang transmission system and the visible lights boomerang transmission system using time hopping. We confirmed the influence of communication and measurement characteristics against interference and background light noise. From simulation results, it is confirmed that the proposed system using time hopping is better than that conventional system using on-off keying.
