Proposal of TDMA Method with Slot Reallocation for Inter-Vehicle Communication

Abstract(in English) Recently, many researches about Intelligent Transport System have been studied. Serveral methods related to the Inter-Vehicle communication were proposed to achieve an efficiented exchange of vehicle control information. The reliable communication methods for exchanging the vehicle control information are required to realize the safe driving support system. Since the periodic vehicle control information is exchanged, it is effective to use TDMA (Time Division Multiple Access) which allocates the wireless resource to each terminal at fixed intervals. On the other hand, the demands of various data communications are increasing even in the Inter-Vehicle communication as the result of rapid growth of Internet service. Therefore, new communication method, which handles periodic vehicle control information and data communication information, has been required. This paper proposes new TDMA method that releases the allocated wireless resource to other terminal. The numerical results show that the proposed scheme is reliable and has a lower delay communication compared with the conventional methods.
