Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This study examines rules of expressions in walking motions and whether an expression in a motion can be described by parameters. At first, we started analysis of various expressive walking using angles of waist and knee that are extracted from real human walking. And using differences between normal walking and expressive walking, we synthesized new walking and researched how the walking motions are recognized by subjects. As the result, we demonstrate that walking features can be transferred to other walk and make out the index of effectiveness of a difference pattern used to synthesize the walking pattern.
