Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper is to report on 2.45GHz IC tag antenna, which aims to increase the reading distance for the case mounted on the metal surface. The antenna has three-layered structure, consisting of a dipole antenna, high permittivity dielectric and the reflector. The dipole antenna and the reflector are separated at the quarter wavelength. The content first presents the experimental results that the quarter wavelength separation increases the radiated signal power for a limited size of antenna. Second, the optimization of the antenna dimensions such as the length, the width and the quarter wavelength gap has been proceeded by evolving the simulation models, started from an isolated dipole antenna to three-layered antenna, and to the configuration mounted on the metal surface.
