| Abstract(in English) | The recent activities of Advisory Committee on Safety, ACOS which deals with the general matters of the safety related works in International Electrotechnical Commission, IEC are herein introduced. The activities as the role, for safety promotion of equipment and the installations, the propulsion of harmonization of the safety standards, the coordination of the standard-making works in IEC, Workshop-holding with the subject of safety, and the cooperation with the safety related works such as in ISO which are made by organizations outside IEC are explained in detail. |
