Abstract(in English) | ISO 13849-1, the safety-related parts of the control systems of machinery, was revised in November, 2006, in order that it can be applied to corresponded safety-related control systems. Quantitive evaluation of safety becomes possible by taking into consideration a performance levels that are levels of probability of dangerous failures of the parts. This paper describes the summary of the requirements and the method of evaluation by performance levels. |
