Abstract(in English) Cognitive radio system consists of multiple wireless access systems that cover overlapping area, and cognitive terminals that use one or more wireless access systems simultaneously to communicate with network. In this paper, the basic experimental system for cognitive radio is introduced. In the system, both WiMAX and WLAN are used for inter-radio system switching and cognitive terminal is given one local IP address regardless the number of wireless access systems that they communicate with. We have achieved continuous streaming service with the system and the average end-to-end latency becomes 1.2 seconds including application buffer delays.
