Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper evaluated HSDPA's system capacities for mixed IP traffics of voice and data. When jumbling the voice and data traffics together so that they are applied to a single PF scheduler, it was shown that voice quality has to be seriously deteriorated due to its lower immunity to delay. To solve the issue, we propose a new scheduling method that enables prioritized voice transmissions in which we can set an arbitrary priority of voice transmissions. The simulation results ensured that the proposed scheduling method can maintain a QoS of voice traffic under a given number of voice users at slight expense of data throughput.
