Abstract(in English) High speed wireless communication requires not only complex baseband signal processing but also performance improvement of analog component such as a quadrature modulator, a quadrature demodulator and a power amplifier. Because of the limit of improving the performance of each analog component, many techniques to compensate for errors in analog components by using digital signal processing have been studied recently. However, these techniques have a problem that these techniques require an additional signal or path to estimate errors, and in consequence analog circuits become complex. For solving this problem we have studied a error estimation technique using a phase shifter that rotates the local signal input to the quadrature demodulator. In this paper we study this technique in the case that a phase shifter has errors and confirm the performance of this method through computer simulation.
