| 抄録(和) | 携帯電話における機能の高度化,集約化が継続して進展していることに加えて,無線技術の世代交代,システムとネットワークの進化も進められており,これら技術発展によるサービスの高度化に相応できる端末技術の開発が必要となる.本稿では,携帯電話系のシステムを中心に,端末の視点から見たモバイルマルチメディアコミュニケーション技術への期待と展望について述べ,将来に向けた研究の方向性を示す.特にパーソナルコミュニケーションツールとしての携帯電話の将来像,システムの一部として将来の携帯電話が果たすべき役割などについて概観し,高度で知的なコミュニケーション機能を提供していくことが,今後の重要な方向性であることを述べる. |
| 抄録(英) | Further mobile terminal technologies are necessary to be developed for providing advanced services along with the trend of continuous advancement and integration of cellular phone functionalities, new generation radio access technology, and an evolution of mobile systems and networks. This paper describes the expectation and vision of future mobile multimedia communication technology focusing on cellular systems from the viewpoint of mobile terminals. This paper provides a future image of cellular phone as a personal communication tool and an overview of functions and technologies of next generation cellular phone, concluding that realization of advanced intelligent communication should be the important direction for the future research of mobile multimedia communication. |
