Basic study of estimating a standing-up motion by using the plantar information

Abstract(in English) Standing-up motion is one of most important motion which induces to walk and transfer afterwards. We would like to estimate the standing-up motion in order to control stand-up assistive device according to the user's motion. We selected the plantar information (pressure and feet position) to estimate the motion because the plantar information was easy to measure. In this paper, we investigated the relationship between the movement of head/waist and the movement of COP/VRF. From the results, it was found there was a certain relationship.
