Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In recent years, the number of video games for the visually impaired has been gradually increasing. They can play these games by hearing sound. However, the creators of such games didn't make them from a viewpoint of actively seeking and utilizing the capabilities of the visually impaired. Consequently, we clarified the capabilities and advantages of the visually impaired and created a new game more suited for them. This time, we made a prototype for evaluation whose content is a virtual cycling game in which each target is shown as a moving sound source. Then evaluation experiments were conducted where both the visually impaired and unimpaired served as subjects. The game's prototype was regarded as very enjoyable. From the results of evaluation experiments including the log data of experiments and questionnaires from subjects, we learned about the capabilities and advantages of visually impaired.
