抄録(英) | A high-speed 3D space recognition processing method is proposed that suits many applications such as moving robots that are used for remote communication. First, a 3D space recognition technique based on motion vectors in the images captured by a moving active monocular camera is proposed. Triangulation allows us to calculate the 3D coordinates of stationary objects. We introduce a 3D space recognition processing technique that handles camera images. This technique is based on the principle of simple triangular surveying and makes it possible to estimate the 3D space position of a stationary object. In addition, as an application example, we describe and implement an automatic system for making global maps. Demonstrations confirm the system's effectiveness. We also propose a space recognition technique that accelerates a stream-based camera to enable 3D space position estimation of moving objects (linear movement) as well as stationary objects. |
